Trapped in the centre of a spiral, how could someone get out?

The Tumbler level from World of Goo, only set in stone- draw in with crayons.

Rotate the pieces to free the ball and the star, and somehow unite them once again.

My second creation. I will try some hard creative work soon. But now easy level.
